About the role
Azentrix is developing two software products for care providers: Facility Pilot, an operations platform for behavioral health residential facilities, and VisitChain, an electronic visit verification app for home care.
As a Product Design Intern, you'll work on the interfaces of these internal products — turning real operational workflows into screens that are clear, accessible, and practical for busy staff and caregivers.
What you'll do
- Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity screens for Facility Pilot and VisitChain
- Contribute to and help maintain the products' shared design components
- Work with engineers to make sure designs are buildable and are implemented as intended
- Design for accessibility, including contrast, readable type, and touch targets
- Present your work and incorporate feedback from the team
What we're looking for
- Currently studying, or recently completed studies in, design, HCI, or a related field — or equivalent self-taught experience
- A portfolio that shows your process, not only final screens
- Working knowledge of a modern interface design tool
- Clear written communication in English
Nice to have
- Experience designing data-heavy or form-heavy interfaces
- Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
- Interest in healthcare or care-provider software
What you'll gain
- Hands-on work on real products that are in active development
- Close collaboration with engineers building what you design
- Regular feedback on your work
Details such as start date, duration, and weekly schedule are discussed with shortlisted candidates.
